Sandra Mandel from Philadelphia, PA has received funding for “The Afafanto Scholarship Fund” from Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Foundation, Beta Pi Chapter. DKG has been a strong supporter of Leah's Dream.

Linda McCrary, Educational Foundation Board of Trustees Chair, announced today that The Educational Foundation awarded $135,000 to fund 60 educational projects in communities around the world. The application for a project grant is available at www.dkgef.org after July 1 st . The Educational Foundation supports and encourages intercultural understanding and educational excellence. Established in 1964, the Foundation is a non-profit organization located at The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Headquarters in Austin, Texas. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, established in 1929, is an honor organization for women educators with more than 100,000 members in 17 countries.
