Sagnarigu Shea
Butter Cooperative
In 2006 Leah was employed by IFPRI in Ghana to research women's leadership initiatives in the Northern Ghana villages. She believed that the shea butter business could be a profitable way to benefit women. Through Emelia, She became freinds with The women of Sankriku Womens Cooperative. Later, Leah's mom, Sandee, met with these same women and began buying quantities of the fine quality shea butter which they produced. Now you can play a part in supporting Leah's Dream by buying some of this remarkable shea butter.
