AFAFANTO GIRLS’ CLUBS

Afafanto Girls’ Clubs

Learning and encouragement as girls prepare for their next steps in school.

Confidence begins with encouragement.

The Afafanto Girls’ Clubs were introduced to support junior high school girls after school as they prepared for their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The aim was to build confidence and help girls continue their education.

The original program page describes clubs in Larabanga, BagaBaga and Sagnirigu, with plans to reach other villages. It describes using the WomenStrong International curriculum alongside test-taking skills.

The clubs connect with the wider goal of helping more girls qualify for further education and the Afafanto Scholarship. Locations and expansion plans reflect the original program account.
